August 2025 News Post

As the end 2025 Boating Season approaches for many of us and boats start coming out of the water, we’ve put together some useful hint & tips.

Ditch your fuel – contaminated fuel one of the main contributors to running problems in outboard engines. Do not keep old untreated fuel, untreated fuel has a short shelf life. Fuel should NOT look like the pictures below.

Aspen Fuel – make the switch to Aspen Fuel. Regular petrol contains ethanol which is known to cause harm to small petrol outboard engines. Aspen is ethanol free, extending engine life and reliability. Aspen Fuel stays fresh for years!

Outboard Covers – We stock outboard engine covers ranging from 2hp to 300hp. Our covers are fully waterproof, made with 300D polyester with PU coating 170gsm and the zip fastening offers easy installation.

They can be used both with the outboard installed on the boat or when removed for storage – offering complete protection for your outboard engine.

Outboard Trolleys – If you are struggling to find the best way to store your outboard engine, an outboard engine trolley offers convenience and manoeuvrability. They also make sure that your outboard is stored in the correct position, preventing oil draining into the cylinders.
