Suzuki offer customers a 5 year Leisure Warranty on all models. 2 year or 1000hr Commercial Warranty on all models (excluding DF350hp) with a FREE Datatag security marking with all Suzuki Marine engines from (DF40A to DF350A).

Durability & Reliability
- Self-Adjusting Timing Chain – running in an oil bath, the chain is adjusted by an automatic hydraulic tensioner (DF40A and above)
- Water Detecting System – prevents water intrusion, when water is detected the system will alert the operator (DF70A and above)
- Tilt Limit System – prevents the outboard from tilting beyond a selected angle (DF60AV and above)
- Sub Water Inlet – two inlets in different directions reduces the clogging of algae preventing the outboard from overheating (standard DF40A-DF60A)

Clean Ocean Project
Since 2020, Suzuki’s Clean Ocean Project has focused on reducing marine plastic waster through three key commitments;
- Clean-Up the World Campaign – as of 2025 more than 23,500 people from 95 groups have actively participated in the campaign.
- Reduce Plastic Packaging – Suzuki are replacing plastic packing used for outboard engine and genuine marine parts with eco-conscious, sustainable alternatives.
- Micro-Plastic Collecting (MCP) – developed the world’s first MCP device designed for integration with outboard engines, reducing plastic pollution in our oceans.
